Meet Scott
Scott Sutcliffe is a methodical software engineer that has been involved with computers (in one way or another) for over three decades. Although his early career was based in automotive technology, the adoption of computers in vehicles was a catalyst for him to branch out, first to electronics, and then to computer software where his main passion now lies.
After working on many small, medium, and large software projects ranging from checking account management to patient positioning systems for Image Guided Radiation Therapy, Scott decided to start a new adventure by founding Manta Ray Software in 2008 to develop Apple iPhone apps. He eventually wants to expand Manta Ray's work to include a more diverse offering of software products.
Now Scott wants to share his unique experiences by blogging about software development, automotive topics and occasionally his other passions as well.
Scott is a single parent who lives in Southeastern Massachusetts with his teenage son, girlfriend, and several cats who rule the house. Besides developing software, Scott enjoys antique cars, hi-fidelity audio, the British West Indies and DD coffee rather than Starbucks.
